.UK-Thailand Research Funding Opportunities is a series of webinars co-organised by the National Science and Technology Development Agency, the British Embassy and the British Council focused on funding opportunities for researchers in Thailand.
.Episode 1: Newton Fund Opportunities
.The first episode “Newton Fund Opportunities” will be held on 12 May 2020 at 2-4 pm. The session will touch upon the following topics:
.• Details of the Newton Fund and open calls including the Newton Fund Mobility Grants, Newton Fund Institutional Links (IL) and the Newton Fund Impact Scheme (NFIS)
.• Discussion with representatives from the Thai funding partners on research directions and Thai priority areas. The session is led by:
.o Prof. Dr. Sirirurg Songsivilai, MD, Executive Director, National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT)
.o Mr. Punpermsak Aruni, Senior HRD Specialist, Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation
.• How the NSTDA Research Support Office can support researchers in applying for international research funding
